Dr Eugene Osburn
Dr. Osburn is a graduate of Iowa State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Following graduation, he moved with his family to Florence, Oregon where he worked as an associate veterinarian in Dr. Robert McKnight’s practice. Dr. Osburn decided to start his own practice in Reedsport in 1981. In 1999, the decision was made to open a practice in Florence to accommodate the many Florence clients. Dr Osburn has never thought of being a veterinarian as a job, but as a lifestyle. When he isn't taking care of his patients, he enjoys bass fishing, kayaking and gathering his wandering Black Angus herd. Dr Osburn is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Oregon Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr Suzy Barstow
Dr Barstow is a graduate of Kansas State University. Following graduation, Dr Barstow moved to Florence with her husband Michael. Dr Barstow has 2 children, Ian and Joel, a lab mix Skeeter; and 2 cats; Wilbert and Fish. She enjoys watching her boys play sports, camping and relaxing. Dr Barstow is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Oregon Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr Christina Talley
Dr Talley is a Montana native and received her bachelor's degree in wildlife and molecular biology from Montana Tech in Butte, Montana. She earned her veterinary degree at Colorado State University, where she specialized in both equine and bovine medicine an surgery. Dr Talley spent the past 2 years practicing veterinary medicine in Elko, Nevada where her primary focus was equine medicine. She has relocated to Florence with her menagerie of horses, sheep, dogs, cats, hermit crabs and guinea pigs. She is a member of the American Association of Bovine Practitioners, American Association of Equine Practitioners, American Embryo Transfer Association, American Veterinary Medical Association and Oregon Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr Janel Montes
Dr Montes is a 2011 graduate of Colorado State University. She has been practicing in a busy veterinary hospital in rural Arizona for the past 5 years. She is ready to continue her adventure in life on the Oregon Coast. Dr Montes is joined in Florence with her husband David and their 3 pups. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and Oregon Veterinary Medical Association.
Beth Fandrey, Manager
Beth is the office manager and has been a member since September 2000. Beth enjoys spending time with her family and friends, riding her horse and playing with her dogs, Katie, Grace and Molly. Beth is a member of the American Animal Hospital Association and Veterinary Hospital Manager Association.
Kim McKinnis, Certified Veterinary Technician
Kim has been a staff member since September of 2000. She has more than 23 years experience as a veterinary technician and over 11 of those years have been at Osburn Veterinary Clinic as the Head Technician. Kim has a great passion for animals and people, and a love of medicine, with special interests in preventative and nutritional medicine. She enjoys cleaning pet's teeth and spending time assisting in surgery. Kim received her CVT in 1998 by challenging the national and state veterinary technician boards. At home Kim has a labrador retriever Maggie, a Tennessee Walker Regulator, two goats and 7 cats.
Allison Emerson, Certified Veterinary Technician
Allison graduated from Portland Community College in June 2012 with her AAS in Veterinary Technology. While she enjoyed Portland, Allison realized that she preferred small-town life. She moved to Florence and joined the team in July 2012. Allison has 1 horse and 1 cat. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and traveling and sightseeing.
Tiffany Yates, Veterinary Assistant
Tiffany joined our team in April of 2015. She has the privilege of working in both of our clinics. Before moving to the Oregon Coast, Tiffany worked in a busy practice in Taos, New Mexico. Tiffany loves all the coast has to offer. She enjoys spending her free time exploring the area with her husband and children.

Ruby Barth, Receptionist
Ruby has been a receptionist and team member since June of 2006. She enjoys helping and meeting the clients and their pets. When not at work she enjoys spending time with her husband Frank and dog Mandy. She loves to spend time with her new granddaughter. When the weather permits (as she is a fair weather gal) she enjoys fishing, camping, hiking, biking, boating and gardening. She also has a passion for growing flowers, bird watching and photography.

Donna joined the team in July 2016.
Casey Wilmesherr, Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist
Casey joined our team in October 2013. She was worked as a veterinary assistant and receptionist. Casey likes spending time with her friends and family and camping. She also has horses that she loves to ride and work with. Casey rides 4 wheelers and enjoys being outdoors. Casey has a horse, 4 dogs and a perfect little girl.
Kimberly Hayes, Veterinary Assistant
Kimberly joined our team in March 2017. She has worked as a veterinary assistant on the east coast and in California for the past 8 years.
Sally has been a part of the practice since February of 2003. She enjoys her interactions with patients and boarders in the Reedsport practice. When Sally isn't taking care of clinic patients, she is spending time with her dogs.
